Plains District Memorial Museum is A lively small-town museum in Timberville, Virginia, filled with an impressive permanent collection and constantly revolving displays of "life as it was" in the Shenandoah Valley.

**With the recent significant increase in the number of CO-VID related cases in our area, the Board of Directors, in order to protect the safety of our volunteers and our visitors, has decided to CLOSE  PLAINS DISTRICT MEMORIAL MUSEUM for the remainder of January.  We will reopen in Feb. if it is safe to do so.  You can reach us by phone at 540-896-7900 or e-mail at plainsmuseum@comcast.net.
